APS Secretariat Support Officer

Canberra based

Contract through until March 2025

About the role

We are very interested in hearing from candidates with policy and program experience who demonstrate strong communication, organisation, secretariat, and stakeholder engagement skills.
You will provide support to six divisional committees, and operational governance authorities. Tasks include:

- Collating and reviewing agendas and meeting papers
- Supporting the chair at meetings
- Capturing minutes and managing action items
- Tracking progress of work items
- Reporting on progress of items and updating records

Successful candidates-

- excellent written and oral communication skills
- strong stakeholder engagement skills
- strong and efficient organisation and prioritisation skills
- highly collaborative and have excellent interpersonal skills
- the ability to problem-solve and undertake tasks that may require research and analysis
