- leading and managing the staff within the Strategic Policy unit;
- providing and coordinating strategic policy advice, research and analysis;
- overseeing the forecast and planning of evaluations of programs and policies across Economic Development;
- undertaking duties on behalf of the EGM, such as direct liaison with Ministers' offices, senior executive offices and external stakeholders;
- overseeing the secretariat functions of committees and ensure implementation of recommendations of major reviews and decisions.
