    Description

    Join our global Operational Risk Team based in Sydney and provide guidance to Macquarie's operating and support groups on the management of material risks and deliver oversight, challenge, and insights on Macquarie's risk profile.

    What role will you play?

    In this position, you will support the governance of Macquarie's Operational Risk Frameworks, strategic initiatives, and principles across the organization. This involves conducting design workshops, GRC system solutions, and implementing change and learning activities. You will develop expertise in risk assessments, control management, assurance, and incident management to ensure effective oversight of our frameworks and practices. Join a committed team that collaborates with business leaders to enhance risk management practices.

    What you offer

    • Prior experience in Operational Risk or Internal Audit within financial institutions or professional services firms
    • Strong communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders and build effective relationships
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

    The Risk Management Group operates as an independent and centralized function responsible for reviewing and challenging Macquarie's material risks. Divisions include behavioral risk, compliance, credit, financial crime risk, internal audit, market risk, and governance, prudential risk, and central Risk Management Group.
