We are looking for an
Analyst in either Sydney or Melbourne to join the Integrated Research team at IQVIA ANZ, one of Australia's leading and largest healthcare market research providers.

The Analyst role provides critical support in project management and in providing high quality, on time inputs to client projects in the life sciences field.

Assignments range in complexity from basic analysis and problem solving to assisting in the development of more complex solutions.


Key responsibilities:


  • Assists with the review and analysis of client requirements and in the development of proposals and client solutions.
  • Together with a consultant or senior consultant, assists in project management for assigned projects, including coordination of survey scripting, fieldwork, quality control, and liaison with clients and external vendors.
  • Performs quantitative or qualitative analyses to assist in the identification of client issues and the development of client specific solutions.
  • Assists in the development of presentations that are appropriate to the characteristics or needs of the audience. May present client deliverables within identified frameworks and methodologies.
  • Proactively develops knowledge of market research and consulting methodologies and the life sciences market through the delivery of consulting engagements and participation in formal and informal learning opportunities.
  • Proactively develops knowledge of IQVIA business and offering portfolio.

Required Skills and Experience:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration or related field (required)
  • Minimum of 2+ years' relevant working experience and/or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Experience in market research design, implementation and analysis
  • Demonstrated understanding of the life sciences and/ or health service industries is preferred, either as part of tertiary study or through working experience
  • Understanding of behavioural science/ behavioural economics advantageous
  • Knowledge and understanding of the fundamental processes of business, their interaction, and the impact of external/internal influences on decision making, growth and decline.
  • Wishes to build a longterm career in the life science and/or health service industries.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage own workload with mínimal guidance.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients.
  • Works willingly and effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals.
  • Permanent working/resident rights in Australia (PR or Citizen).
