As part of the Commercial Banking business, we are focused on meeting the needs of medium to large enterprises with turnover between $10m-$150m and an aggregated commercial debt of up to $50 million.

Our team support a national portfolio of prominent franchising customers to achieve their financial goals.


We place our customers at the centre of everything we do in an effort to recommend the best outcome for their specific needs, utilising a comprehensive range of products and services like business lending, transaction banking, cash flow finance, trade finance, asset finance, wealth management and risk management.


Your impact


In the Analyst role you are a key member of the Relationship Management Team and you will support the Relationship Executive through value add solutions.

The key purpose of your role is to undertake financial modelling and analysis and assess the risks/opportunities on new lending, as well as assess the risks associated with increases in client credit.

You will also oversee the annual review and performance monitoring function for the portfolio to ensure strong credit hygiene practices are maintained.


You will be passionate about customer service and focused on achieving our goal of being number 1 in client satisfaction.

  • You will undertake financial modelling and analysis and assess the risks and opportunities on new lending, as well as preparation of credit risk submissions so your attention to detail and flair for writing papers will place you in the box seat for success
  • You will collaborate with product specialists, undertake reporting and monitor performance.
  • The role will involve performance monitoring and annual reviews for existing clients, and reporting of client financial and operational performance to Risk Management.
- a key part of the role is to deliver exceptional customer service in all dealings, as reflected in a positive lift in various survey results


What are we looking for?


We are a high performing, customer focused team and we're looking for a strong Analyst to join and continue to deliver above and beyond service and outcomes.

You are someone who is self-driven to learn, a good team player and highly adaptable within complex environments.

In this team you'll have the opportunity to gain exposure to large commercial clients and work with some of the most skilled Commercial bankers.

Some of the key capabilities & experience we're looking for are;

  • Highly developed research, financial analysis, excel and modelling.
  • Strong credit writing skills with a deep understanding of financial statements and the underlying drivers of performance.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and key stakeholders e.g. credit department, Group Lending Services etc.
  • Have client service experience ideally in a Commercial or Business banking environment
  • Strong commercial acumen and welldeveloped financial analysis and modelling skills
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex transactions, and ideally have previous 'new to bank' transactional and credit risk experience
  • A tertiary qualification in Business/Finance and/or Commerce would be highly regarded.
