- Be accountable for leading all aspects of team management and daily kitchen activities
- Participate in menu preparation and pricing policies
- Develop training plans and conduct on-the-job training sessions
- Ensure an open line of communication between the team, management and guests.
- Mentoring our team to retain talent in the business.
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef and relevant tertiary qualifications, such as Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
- Knowledge of a variety of Japanese cooking styles
- Experience managing a lively and fast-paced team
- Strong understanding of produce, culinary techniques, and kitchen equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Full working rights to commit to a minimum of 40 hours per week

As our Sous Chef in Sokyo, reporting to the Executive Chef Daniel Kwak, you will be a natural leader in the kitchen and bring the best out of your team.
