    The Position:

    • Oversee and assist with food production and menu-based catering
    • Manage the kitchen operations in a safe and efficient manner
    • Maintain a high standard of food hygiene, safety, infection control and cleanliness
    • Bulk cooking, including functions and events
    • Oversee Rostering, procurement, stock control and other administrative duties related to a senior chef position
    • Successfully mentoring and developing a kitchen team including kitchen hands, cooks and chefs

    The Person:

    • Minimum Cert III Chef trade qualification
    • An understanding of Café style food advantageous
    • Highly organised and energetic hands on leader
    • Passionate about healthy and nutritious eating with food safety and allergen management compliance.
    • Experience in function work and large volume kitchen preferable
    • Confident in OH&S regulations, food safety & HACCP compliance
