    Description

    Aspect Personnel are working with a council in Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs to recruit an experienced Asset Protection Officer for an initial 4 month contract.

    Employed as an Asset Protection Officer, you will be responsible for:

    • Inspection of works to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and council policies
    • Investigation & resolution of any breaches of legislation and policies
    • Issuing of infringement notices
    • Issuing vehicle crossing permits.
    • Ensuring health & safety standards are upheld
    • Supervising works & construction of municipal infrastructure.

    As the ideal candidate you will have/be:

    • A qualification in Civil Engineering, or relevant experience/qualifications
    • Experience in issuing permits within a local government organisation
    • Experience conducting asset protection inspections
    • A solid understanding of Local Government procedures
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • A current driver's license
