    Senior Performance Manager

    THE ROLE

    Havas Media Australia's Sydney team is looking for a Senior Performance Manager to join our growing media team. You'll be joining a supportive, collaborative and diverse team, with flexible working arrangements, loads of development opportunities and an industry-leading benefits package.

    The Senior Performance Manager will be responsible for leading and driving forward the success of performance-oriented media accounts within the media team at Havas Media. You will be accountable for creating and implementing strategies across all the core paid search and social channels.

    As a key member of our team, you will look after end to end set up, optimisation and delivery of performance media-based campaigns for some of the most well-known brands in Australia. The Senior Performance Manager will deploy world class performance media strategies, making smart use of audience data, and industry-leading technology to drive ROAS for our clients.

    The role requires a passion for driving results, a collaborative mindset, and a desire to constantly evolve our approach to drive meaningful growth for clients. You will be an experienced and exceptionally talented individual who is passionate about making media drive results for clients.

    Day to day, your role will involve the following core responsibilities:

    Campaign management:

  • Monitor and manage day to day running of paid search and social accounts for clients
  • Ensure all accounts are set-up to adhere best practice & restructure inherited accounts where necessary
  • Strong budget management skills to avoid underspend/overspend.
  • Forecast accurately expected performance of campaigns for clients

    • Account management:

  • Manage the overall client performance media programs for a designated portfolio, including day-to-day client relationship and the efficient and effective implementation of strategy

    • Implementation:

  • Work with the team to create exceptional and holistic digital media plans, rooted in campaign business objectives, across paid search and social.
  • Accountable for end-to-end delivery of performance campaigns against targets.
  • Provide performance reporting and in-depth insights on a weekly basis. You will be comfortable dealing with numbers and technology platforms, with a great ability to articulate and put together sound recommendations.

    • Optimisation:

  • Work closely with Analytics team to ensure that all campaigns are being run and tested with the rigor needed to gain appropriate learnings.
  • Strive to identify improvements beyond SEM.
  • Highlight opportunities for innovation and improvement on the client account through media, marketing, creative, technological or process change.

    • Team development:

  • Mentoring and guidance of junior team members, taking responsibility for their growth and development.
  • Completion of junior team member performance reviews and KPI tracking.
