We are group of experts in the Strategy & Performance team who is responsible for execution, simplification & efficiency and aim to enable the broader division to focus on the technology & business priorities.

We are removing duplication and providing performance insights to enable optimal performance for the Technology function. We are recognised as business partners with the ability to identify and deliver on solutions.


In this role


You will be acting as a representative and be responsible for overseeing the strategic agenda and driving activities for our Institutional Banking and Markets (IB&M) Technology area.

Working closely with senior leadership you will be attending regular governance, workforce, performance committees and approval reviews whilst developing and driving business objectives.


Your responsibilities will also include

  • Preparing governance reporting requirements including milestones, financials, benefits, and risk
  • Managing high complexity and change whilst operating with an enterprise mindset
  • Overseeing the drafting and maintenance of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with the support of various teams
  • Tracking metrics against stated objectives and key results leveraging data driven insights and challenges for continuous improvement opportunities
  • Driving workforce and financial management activity via forecasts, budgets, actuals, and reconciliation
  • Communicating across various teams to ensure information flow, commitments can be delivered limiting the escalation of risks and issues
  • Identifying actions and interventions for escalation and conducting initiative deep dives

We're interested in hearing from people who have

  • Demonstrated experience in strategy execution
  • Excellent written and spoken communications skills with strong influencing and interpersonal abilities Proven experience in managing large data sets and teams who
- operational processes

  • Demonstrated experience with the provision of insights to enable senior business leaders to make datadriven decisions
  • Sound knowledge and experience in using project management frameworks such as pace and disciplines
  • Strong attention to detail with exceptional organisation and planning skills
  • Advanced Excel skills would be an advantage
