    Join us for an exciting opportunity to represent a government client as the first point of contact for customer assistance across multiple channels including inbound calls, email, and web chat. As a Customer Service Agent you'll provide accurate guidance on regulations and rights related to products, services, ideas, and branding for intellectual property rights. Stay updated on our client's initiatives, offerings and digital strategy. Ensure thorough transaction handling and effective communication in line with department guidelines.

  • Operating Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 8pm - Roster is rotational
  • Location: 485 La Trobe Street, Melbourne VIC. Hybrid/WFH after speed to competency met.
  • Commencing 27th May 2024,
  • Full Time and Casual positions available
  • Paid Training
  • Australian Citizenship required as working on behalf of Government client.

    • Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a current understanding of our client's purpose, offerings and initiatives
  • Assist callers with understanding regulations and rights around the registration of products, services,ideas and branding, use of websites, completing relevant forms, troubleshooting and calculators.
  • Ensure that all transactions are completed thoroughly and convey information in accordance with the guidelines provided by the department. -Always seek clarification when unsure.
  • Act professionally and appropriately at all times act in the best interest of our client and Probe
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify issues, seek solutions, and contribute to continuous improvements.
  • Ensure a safe, healthy and sustainable workplace for all employees and contractors, report workplace hazards, and provide a safe and positive workplace.

    You are a quick thinker who thrives on solving challenging problems, particularly when assisting customers with inquiries. Passionate about providing exceptional customer service, you possess a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in every interaction. Your strong verbal and written communication skills enable you to consistently deliver outstanding customer experiences. Demonstrating resilience and flexibility, you adeptly adapt to varying customer needs and situations. Proficient in using technology, you excel at multitasking across different systems while actively listening to and understanding customer requirements. Additionally, you are adaptable, proactive, and eager to contribute to a dynamic team focused on delivering top-notch service within a regulatory environment.

    To work from home you will need your own Windows 10 based PC or laptop with an i5 processor 8GB of RAM or equivalent with antivirus installed and Windows defender switched on.
