    As a key member of the Bluewaters leadership team, you will be responsible for the finance function, providing strategic guidance and leadership to support the achievement of our financial targets and key business objectives.

    This role is based in the Perth CBD, with flexibility options available to the successful candidate. Part-Time arrangements will be considered for the right person.

    About the GM Finance and Accounting role:

    • Key member of the Bluewaters Leadership Team, provide insightful analysis and recommendations to senior management and the Board of Directors
    • Manage external stakeholder relationships including lenders, auditors, and service providers
    • Lead strategic financial planning and budget management to drive achievement of financial targets and business objectives
    • Oversee year-end income tax return preparation and collaborate with external tax accountants as needed
    • Oversee internal audits to ensure compliance with internal standards and continuous improvement
    • Assess and mitigate potential risks to safeguard company reputation and financial prosperity
    • Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented culture
    • Drive continuous improvement of finance systems and processes

    Attributes:

    • Degree qualified in Finance, Accounting with recognised CA, CPA or MBA preferred
    • Ability to work cooperatively and independently, whilst establishing positive relationships across the business
    • Excellent written and oral skills, including the ability to explain complex systems in simple terms
    • Proven experience in a senior finance or accounting leadership role
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Knowledge of relevant legislation and compliance requirements
    • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and drive results
