- Input and maintenance of data for legislative recording, reporting and destruction purposes.
- Production of evidentiary material.
- Prioritise and manage requests for the transcription of material.
- Liaise with stakeholders such as investigators and telecommunications carriers.
- Producing and providing investigators with documentation to enable legislative compliance.
- Tracking of prosecution outcomes for necessary annual reporting requirements.
- Well-developed interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work within a team environment to achieve team deadlines.
- An appreciation of the sensitivity of the role and need to manage information appropriately and securely.
- Ability to maintain systematic and accurate administrative records.
- Sound computer skills, particularly in relation to word processing, data entry and software packages.

The Evidence Preparation Section forms part of the Special Projects Unit and is responsible for the preparation of evidentiary material to investigators, the administration of warrants and all statutory reporting provisions regulated by legislation.
