    Our client, a global energy transition company, is looking for aPlanner/Scheduler to work on a 6+ months contract inRedcliffe, Perth.
    Main Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain schedules utilizing MS Project or P6, ensuring alignment with project objectives and milestones.
    • Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, and vendors to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for delivery programs.
    • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to anticipate and address potential project delays or challenges.
    • Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment required for project implementation.
    • Monitor project progress against established milestones and identify deviations from the plan, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
    • Prepare regular progress reports and updates for project stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, risks, and areas for improvement.
    • Support project managers in the identification and resolution of issues related to project scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management.
    • Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and identify opportunities for process improvement.
    Main requirements:
    • Proven experience as a scheduler/planner, preferably in large-scale, complex projects.
    • Proficiency in MS Project or P6 is essential; experience with other scheduling tools is a plus.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
