Description

Downer is part of a national programme of the design and construction of fibre deeper into selected Fibre to the Node (FTTN) network areas.

The extension of fibre within these FTTN areas will allow premises to place orders for higher speed services via a Fibre to the Premise (FTTP) connection.

With project offices based in Hexham, NSW and Canning Vale, WA the teams have commenced Design and Construction activities under the
N2P Evolution and Adjacent Programs in these states.


ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role you will develop, update, track and manage the project schedules.

This includes coordinating with key project stakeholders to ensure the program accurately reflects the project activities/milestones and support the project team with project control information to populate daily, weekly and monthly internal and client reporting requirements.


ABOUT YOU

  • Extensive project planning/scheduling experience in high volume programmes of work & able to develop and implement end to end planning for high volume repeatable programmes of work.
  • P6 scheduling/project planning skills; capable of creating & maintaining accurate & constructible, resource loaded programmes of work, preferably with engineering projects.
  • Highly skilled in MS Excel, Power BI reporting experience is desirable.
  • Effective time management skills to ensure that the project reports are compiled in a timely fashion and workload is managed effectively within agreed timeframes and deadlines.
  • Problem solving skills, approaching problems and issues with wellthought out and creative solutions and using initiative to review contingencies.
  • Welldeveloped communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, including the confidence and ability to present information effectively to any audience.
