About the role
We are currently looking for a
Planner (Scheduler) to join our team for a 12 month period. This role is currently based in Carlisle and will be supporting customers in the Midland area. The purpose of this role is to connect customers with their local team. At Chorus, all team members have a role to play in directly supporting customers. This ensures that we keep the customer at the centre of everything we do.
No day is the same and you'll get to enjoy a variety of work which can include:
- Providing a friendly and highly responsive customer contact experience across all communication channels
- Providing direct care to our customers including assisting with social supports in a group setting and on a 121 basis, domestic assistance and helping to build connections between customers and the local community
- Creating and maintaining a service schedule for our customers that meets needs, preferences, and budget
- Maintaining front line worker rosters to ensure the most effective use of resources and to help make Chorus a great place to work.
- Contributing to resource planning
- Collecting customer information and completing administrative updates on relevant systems
- Working collaboratively withthe local team torespond to customer requests and resolvingcustomerconcerns in a timely manner
- Receiving customer payments and resolving customer invoice queries
- Considering each stage of allocating new services to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Making transport bookings
- Running daily morningchecks and supporting the team by organising cover for staff absences
This is what you will need:
- Experience in a customer centred, scheduling environment
- Experience supporting people living with disability, on the mental health recovery journey and/or seniors
- A passion for developing and nurturing relationships with customers, their families, and other key stakeholders
- Able to work both autonomously, as well as within a high functioning team
- Team player and collaborative problem solver
- A fantastic work ethic
- A strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experienced in the Microsoft Office package
Prerequisites:
- An NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Western Australian Drivers Licence
- Your own vehicle
- Rights to work in Australia
- Current First Aid Certificate with 12 months or less currency (or willing to apply)
