    We are looking for a Lead Web Application Engineer who prides themselves in writing clean, elegant, robust and efficient code—someone who likes learning new things or discovering better ways of doing things, which we highly encourage. Our main tech stack is Svelte/React and on a serverless architecture hosted in AWS cloud infrastructure. Some AWS services we use are CloudFront, Route 53, API Gateway, S3, Guard Duty, Dynamo, WAF and Lambda.

    Skills and Experience

    • 7+ years Experience working with modern Frameworks like React, or Svelte
    • Complex programming, program debugging, data analysis, problem analysis and resolution of issues within open-source applications.
    • Experience in the latest versions of , likes playing with new elements such as ESM loader hooks.
    • Experience with third-party integrations with RESTful APIs using OAuth 2.0, API keys, Bearer Tokens and JWT tokens for authentication.
    • Strong in HTML and CSS/SASS/SCSS, think Grid Layout and Logical properties.
    • You know all the intelligent tools that help keep the codebase clean, like autoprefixer, Vite and Rollup, just to name a few.
    • An advocate of Test Driven Development (TDD) or BDD.
    • Excellent knowledge of CI/CD tools like BitBucket pipelines.
    • Experience architecting secure web applications. A clear understanding of current Web Application Security threats and must have expertise to mitigate them.
    • Strong communication and collaborative skills in providing technical direction and hands-on software development, including design, development and testing.

    Preferred

    • Familiar with Web Accessibility (AA Conformance)
    • Experience with AWS or Vercel
    • Experience with source code versioning and Pull Requests with Git and Bitbucket
    • Experience with Salesforce, AEM, Shopify, Sitecore and other Enterprise CMS systems
    • Knowledge of Jest, Karma, Jasmine and Cypress
    • Database experience with Postgres/Redis/DynamoDB
