Team & OpportunityAs part of Enterprise Risk Management, this role will deliver enterprise riskexpertiseto Vanguard Australia (including Vanguard Investments Australia and Vanguard Super).
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Divisional Risk, this position drives collaboration with key business partners across Vanguard's Product Offer,HRand Finance divisions to ensure all risk matters are considered and addressed.
This roleis responsible forhelping to create a risk aware culture amongst the Product Offer,HRand Finance divisions through embedded second-line risk management support.
You will partner closely with the business to enable strong risk management in decision making and position the division to take opportunities in support of its strategicobjectives.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesConduct risk assessments supporting Product Offer,HRand Finance to make critical business decisions.
Work with business stakeholders to proactivelyidentifyand manage risks,issuesand events.
When issues and events occur, responsible for tracking and driving business to resolution.
Facilitate the ongoing management of the Product Offer,HRand Finance risk profile in alignment with Enterprise Risk Frameworks.
Identifyand prioritize existing and emerging risks and advise onappropriate remediationoutcomes.
Effectively communicates strategies and plans to allappropriate parties.
Support andfacilitatethe Management Risk Committees for Product Offer,HRand Finance to enable the business to oversight and manage its risk effectively and fulfil their obligations in line with the Risk Management Framework (RMF).Supportsthe business byassistingwith thetimelyreview of policies and procedures whererequired, and ensuring andevidencingthat policies and processes are implemented and performed consistently.
Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across Vanguard Super and Vanguard Investments Australia, focused on the Product Offer,HRand Finance divisions.Responsible forassistingto enforce key risk governance concepts across the business, including risk appetite, and risk culture standards.
Participatein special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Undergraduate degreerequiredDemonstratedtrack recordof achievement working in financialservicesMinimum ofeightyears of related workexperience(relatedexperience preferred)Demonstrateexpertisein risk management monitoring of risk partners and development of riskframeworksAbility to develop andmaintainrelationships with external and internal stakeholders at all levels in theorganizationExcellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skillsA demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently and drive analyticalsolutionsWorking knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point, and Access including their reporting capabilities.
