  • 2459 Seeking a risk/life insurance adviser to to work out of their Melbourne offices depending on location. Maintaining a book of around 150 clients, but want someone who can leverage off their referrals and generate new business. Clients are primarily SME business owners.

The Role

Will Suit an experienced risk adviser wanting to work alongside great people with a passion for Life Risk:
The Job comprises of 3 key areas.

  • Managing a existing client relationships and renewals with back office and administration support
  • Providing Business and Personal Risk advice and service to SME's clients
  • Working alongside our other Life Risk specialists to identify and bring on new business opportunities.

Our client is a Risk focused business based along the east coast of Australia and form one of several companies under a large general insurance brokerage business.

The broking clients in the business are our key target clients.

We operate under our own AFSL and provide our clients with personal risk advice regarding Buy/Sell, Key person and Personal Life insurance as well as Group Risk advice.

We work closely with our General insurance, Workers Compensation and Corporate health insurance partners to ensure our clients overall Risk solution is as it should be.

What we are looking for:


  • Demonstrated experience as a Financial Adviser servicing and developing a client base.
  • A solid technical background and detailed understanding of insurance
  • Relevant industry qualifications or working towards the degree. Would also consider experienced risk planners who have FASEA qualifications but may not necessarily be completing their degree.
  • Professionalism and strong ethics / integrity
  • FASEA Accreditation
