- Build the capacity of community and mainstream services to enable people with disability be engaged in the community.
- Total remuneration package of $109,856 per annum including superannuation and the full optional benefit of salary packaging.
- Develop and implement detailed Community Capacity Building Plan
- Plan, coordinate, market and participate in key promotional and capacity building events and activities
- Facilitate regular awareness and readiness activities, including individual and group based information and education sessions for people with disability and their families/carers
- Qualifications in and or lived experience of disability will be highly regarded (Desirable)
- A current Victorian Drivers Licence
- A current Working with Children Check (Employee)
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (can be obtained during application)
- ADO each month (full-time staff only)

Our origins are in Gippsland regional Victoria, but we have grown rapidly in recent years. Our services include general practice (GP); nursing; allied health; dental; counselling and psychology; gambling support; alcohol and drug treatment; migrant and refugee settlement services; social connection; carer support services and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in partnership with the NDIA.
What you'll be doing in this role?
In this role you'll be working within the NDIS Directorate to support the local community to enable connection of people with disability with the services and programs that will make a real difference to their quality of life on a scale never seen before.
This is an exciting opportunity to raise awareness of the issues that affect the social and economic participation of people with disability and support the community to understand how they can create opportunities for greater social and economic participation of people with disabilities, their carers and families.
