    This is a full-time role that will lead the achievement of Human Resources objectives and play an influential role in shaping the organisation's structure and culture.

    What will you do?The role of Head of People and Culture at AISNSW involves playing a leading role in shaping the organisation's structure and fostering its culture in alignment with strategic goals.

    Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, the Head of People and Culture will collaborate with executive leaders in various areas including workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition and retention, organisational design, employee engagement, and professional and leadership growth.

    Integral to this role is the cultivation of trust and respect across the organisation, acting as an advocate for staff while upholding high standards of integrity.

    The Head of People and Culture will exemplify effective leadership, adeptly manage issues, and demonstrate professional and positive behaviors.

    The role requires a deep knowledge of human resources principles, requirements and employee relations regulation, and a passion for cultivating an inclusive and engaging work environment.

    What qualifications will you need?Relevant tertiary qualifications in a Human Resource Management or a related discipline or post graduate qualifications in Human Resource Management At least ten years' experience in a Human Resources and Employee Relations role in a professional services or not-for-profit environment In depth knowledge and experience in the design and execution of the full breadth of the people and culture function with experience in a professional services or not-for-profit environment.

    What will be your key responsibilities?1.

    Strategic HR Leadership Develop, execute, and assess the effectiveness of Human Resources strategies aligned with strategic priorities and initiatives Collaborate with AISNSW leaders to devise workforce and succession plans, identify staffing and training needs, and enhance organisational design Provide analysis and recommendations, collecting and reporting data to inform the organisation's future people strategy and development needs.2.

    HR Operations and Compliance Manage daily HR guidance and ensure a seamless HR service experience Oversee the implementation of HR technology solutions to enhance communication and streamline HR administrative processes Oversee the management all aspects of employee administration, including maintaining personnel files, tracking spreadsheets and preparing employee correspondence Manage HR budget and resources effectively Collaborate with the Office of the Chief Executive in the development, maintenance and review of policies and procedures to ensure the organisation is compliant with regulatory and legislative requirements.3.

    Employee Relations and Culture Champion initiatives focused on supporting employee engagement and staff wellbeing Oversee the logistics associated with staff operations Offer proactive and confidential solutions for general employee relations issues Work with the 'Our People Committee' to drive cultural change initiatives and evaluate their effectiveness, including implementing strategies to measure and enhance employee engagement.4.

    Talent Acquisition and Retention Manage the full employee life cycle, overseeing processes such as onboarding, probation, performance management, remuneration, retention and separation programs Foster positive work relationships, boost morale, and enhance workplace productivity and retention through collaboration with leaders and staff Ensure compliance with legal requirements and ethical standards in all hiring practices.5.

    Employee Development and Professional Learning Lead the development and implementation of training and development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities Facilitate leadership development initiatives to build strong future leaders Oversee support to employees in achieving their goals through coaching, mentorship, and professional learning opportunities.6.

    Other duties as required by the Chief Executive What skills and attributes will you have?In-depth knowledge and experience in the design and execution of the full breadth of the people and culture function Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills High level of attention to detail and excellent organisational and time management skills Strong knowledge of employment law including awards and enterprise agreements Well-developed strategic leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to successfully drive change, influence others and achieve outcomes Demonstrated ability to critically evaluate and analyse organisation issues and execute targeted and effective people and culture solutions Proven knowledge and experience in the high- level management of human resource issues including industrial relations, workforce planning, employee relations, strategic HR planning, performance management and staff growth, and change management Demonstrated high level of professionalism in the confidential management of all organisational and employee information Competent in the day-to-day use of technology tools and programs Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and databases Demonstrated drive, positivity, enthusiasm, personal integrity and a strong work ethic.
