Excellent opportunity for a Material controller for a renowned Engineering company that delivers significant transport infrastructure projects including rail signalling solutions, ticketing systems, and road tolling facilities.
Reporting to the Engineering and Operations manager you will be responsible for ensuring effective operation and management of the material support function to the project teams and deliver plans in synchronization with the demand and in coherence with the processes of the domain.
It is a contract job for 6 to 12 months in Sydney Olympic Park with good hourly rates.

Skills and Experience required for the role:

5+ years working experience in supply chain role including material planning and logistics.
Proven knowledge in inventory and logistics management within production and manufacturing environment
Demonstrated working experience in project or program, design, or product development with cross functional teams.
Ability to work independently and manage different projects with changing priorities.
Demonstrated interpersonal influencing and negotiation skills with excellent stakeholder management ability.
Being open minded to listen and share ideas, and able to bring added value and new ideas.
Intermediate to advanced level computer skills in Microsoft Office including Excel spreadsheet, Outlook, Words and PowerPoint.
Good experience using different ERP systems such as SAP By Design
