Our client is a highly regarded and successful Australian property group with Development, Design & Construction, Asset Management and Property Management divisions.

An opportunity now exists for an experienced

Site Foreman to join their highly valued team on the completion of

Stage 4 of a large Regional Shopping Centre.
It is intended for this to be a full time employment up to November 2023.


You will be responsible for:


  • Liaise with Subcontractors prior to commencement on site.
  • Provide first line supervision, direction and coordination of the activities of trades people and construction workers.
  • Provide support, management and direction to other supervisory staff.
  • Ensures the project is properly resourced by the Subcontractor.
  • Schedule and organise resources.
  • Enforce the implementation and maintenance of the Occupational Health Safety and Environmental project requirements and monitors the project team and Subcontractors performance in this regard.
  • Ensure first aid facilities are available, appropriate and adequately stocked at all times.
  • Assist in the scheduling, coordinating and delivery of materials (e.g. reo, concrete etc) for the designated work areas.
  • Ensure site security and public safety is maintained at all times.
  • Implement maintain and monitor the performance of the Quality Assurance project requirements, including but not limited to management and implementation of ITP.
  • Ensure that that the record keeping is maintained including a Site Diary of daily activities, workforce numbers and trades on site.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of site based Industrial Relations and is actively involved in ensuring that Industrial Disputes are avoided or resolved without adverse effect to the company.
  • Organise and chair Subcontractor coordination meetings on a regular basis.
  • Maintain a delay register.

Ideally you will have:


  • Bachelor's degree relevant fields include Building, Engineering, Construction, Architecture OR TAFE Diploma in Building OR TRADE background.
  • Ideally a minimum of 5 years of Australian construction experience
  • Full Australian work rights
  • Strong clear communication skills
  • A desire to get things "right first time".
  • A degree of rigour, diligence and discipline.


This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high profile retail/commercial project and be mentored by a highly regarded and experienced Construction Manager daily on site.
