    Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Commercial Manager is responsible for driving KPI achievement within the channel, including EBIT growth, product development, go-to-market metrics, and sales forecast accuracy. With direct reporting lines from two business managers, one product development resource, and one shared design resource; this is a critical leadership and cross-functional stakeholder engagement mandate.

    Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities include:

    • Overall management of channel customers including Australia's leading retailers
    • Development of channel strategy for growth KPI achievement
    • Accountable for product and account promotional strategy to maximize sales and profit results
    • Creation of 12-month joint business plans and category plans
    • Accountability for sales forecast accuracy and budget adherence
    • Collaborative work with finance, operations, and customer service

    In this position, you'll wield decision-making authority, overseeing channel account investments, crafting business promotional strategies, and tailoring programs to meet objectives. Your responsibilities will extend to tendering and securing private label business within defined financial parameters.

    To excel in this role, a Bachelor's degree in commerce/business is preferred or equivalent experience in account management, buying groups or business/commercial management roles across consumer / FMCG or retail sectors. People management skills are essential, as demonstrated by a proven track record of leadership, enterprise collaboration and results delivery.

    Presenting with channel growth credentials, your success in strategy development and target achievement, coupled with financial acumen, will be critical. Proficiency in negotiating, financial analysis, customer focus, and relationship building is a must.
