Our Region

The Opportunity
We are seeking a person who is highly motivated, enthusiastic and has a 'can do' attitude working in a team environment. You will also need to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and professionalism.
The Executive Assistant delivers a variety of executive and administrative support services to the Director and the Directorate, spanning multiple areas, often within a politically sensitive setting, aimed at advancing Council objectives.
To be successful, you will demonstrate personal attributes that are consistent with Councils values of Integrity, People Focused, Excellence and Sustainability and you will possess the following:

Hinchinbrook Shire Council is one of the largest employers in the region with approximately 200 employees working across multiple technical, administrative, operational and senior management roles. General Salary Information
Level 4 $77,137 - $82,611 per annum plus superannuation.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
Pre-employment screening includes Medicals, Drug and Alcohol Testing, and Criminal History Checks to ensure capability to perform the inherent requirements of the role.
