Job Description

Process payroll accurately and timely for all employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations
Prepare and reconcile payroll reports, including tax withholdings, deductions, and earnings
Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate employee data, including new hires, terminations, and changes in compensation or benefits
Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee inquiries related to payroll matters
Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risks
Assist in the preparation of payroll-related financial reports and audits

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Proven experience as a payroll accountant or in a similar role
Strong understanding of payroll principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
Proficiency in payroll software (experience with SAP is a plus) and MS Excel
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently under deadlines
