Are you looking for an exciting role in education sector? I am working with a well-known and prestigious college based in the Inner West of Sydney, who are looking for an accounting professional to manage the accounts receivable and payroll function.
My client is a leader within their field and is looking for an innovative, dynamic individual who can fit in seamlessly within their collaborative and team-based culture.
The role
This opportunity is available for an experienced accounts officer who does not shy away from getting in there and building a high performing process.
- Processing a fortnightly end to end Payroll cycle using Micropay (desirable)
- Termination and redundancy calculations and payments
- Liaise with the finance manager for Payroll reporting as per required
- Following up on overdue accounts and referring difficult accounts to the Finance manager
About you
- Minimum 3 years' experience within a Finance officer position
- Industry experience is desirable but not essential
- Efficient with Microsoft programs
- Proactive approach to improving payroll processes and systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
