Are you looking for an exciting role in education sector? I am working with a well-known and prestigious college based in the Inner West of Sydney, who are looking for an accounting professional to manage the accounts receivable and payroll function.

My client is a leader within their field and is looking for an innovative, dynamic individual who can fit in seamlessly within their collaborative and team-based culture.

The role

This opportunity is available for an experienced accounts officer who does not shy away from getting in there and building a high performing process.

In this role you will be responsible but not limited to:

Processing a fortnightly end to end Payroll cycle using Micropay (desirable)
Termination and redundancy calculations and payments
Liaise with the finance manager for Payroll reporting as per required
Following up on overdue accounts and referring difficult accounts to the Finance manager

About you

Minimum 3 years' experience within a Finance officer position
Industry experience is desirable but not essential
Efficient with Microsoft programs
Proactive approach to improving payroll processes and systems.
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
