    Description

    This role is responsible for improving and enhancing cyber resilience and defence capabilities in a very fast growing and rapidly changing environment.
    This will suit someone who has a background in Incident response and Cyber Defence, who wants to take on a more strategic and slightly less hands on role.

    This role is part of a centralised team, that are designed to help various cyber teams within the wider business. The focus is on improving and enhancing defensive capabilities, predominantly on Incidents and how to implement a best practice strategy for prevention and improved processes.

    This will involve working on some greenfield areas and helping the incident response teams with how to become more resilient.
    You don't need to be on the tools, instead, ensuring preparedness, coordination, and support.
    As an example:

    • Developing Cyber Incident Response Simulation exercises, making sure to cover all sorts of threats
    • Researching and reporting on up to date threats and keeping up with current affairs in the cyber world
    • Support Incident Response with sharing of knowledge, development of standards and playbooks.

    What's also key is breaking down post incidents - what are the lessons learnt? How can we mitigate this from happening in the future?
    The aim is to improve the threat and risk posture.

    Experience required:

    • Expertise in defence protocols and processes
    • Strong experience in threat management / risk analysis
    • Experience with a range of IT Security technologies, OT Environments too would be a big plus.
    • Security operations/CSIRT
    • Accreditations preferred: CISSP, CIH, CEH
    • Architecting MITRE ATT&CK

    The position will be Permanent with a Hybrid working arrangement.
    Locations (VIC or WA)
    Package - will reflect a bonus / yearly share scheme.
