Salary based on experience, range:
$122,401 - $155,782 (pro rata) plus super

  • Up to $15,900 in salary packaging and hybrid WFH/office model

About the role:

We are looking for a dynamic Contract Management Specialist to play a critical role in relation to the contract, procurement and compliance activities, establishment of governance processes and the development and implementation of a new contract management system to ensure organisational compliance.

Reporting to the Manager, Procurement and Contracts you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the development, testing and implementation of our new Contract Management System (Technology One) and subsequently supporting the education, awareness and inhouse training
  • Supporting the procurement, planning and tendering processes for internal VLA directorates
  • Provide proactive insights and technical support for identifying improvement opportunities and initiatives relating to contract performance and management
  • Providing reporting and analysis on key performance indicators
  • Enhancing stakeholder relationships through the development of contract management plans, supplier engagement plans and review programs and risk identification and mitigation
  • Advise on contract management governance to ensure compliance with Victorian Government Procurement Board (VGPB) and other legislated obligations across the organisation.
  • Experience in developing and managing contract management policies and procedures in line with VGPB requirements with demonstrated sound judgement in assessing policy impacts
  • Experience in procurement, contracts and supplier management
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing situations
  • Welldeveloped interpersonal skills and the capacity to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including the ability to negotiate and influence as necessary
  • An indepth understanding and/or experience of the VGPB (Victorian Government Purchasing Board) policy and procedures is highly desirable.
