Underwriting (Insurance & Superannuation)Exciting Opportunity:
Join my client as a Senior Construction Underwriter, offering expert advice and technical support within delegated authorities
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate risk for all quotation types, underwriting new business, renewals, endorsements, and adjustments.
Analyze and resolve complex risks in line with underwriting guidelines.
Issue quotes promptly and accurately.
Maintain relationships with intermediaries through visits and effective communication.
Respond to broker inquiries professionally and within service standards.
Provide specialist advice on company products and services.
Underwrite profitable business and monitor financial performance.
Mentor staff on underwriting guidelines.
Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Contribute to continuous improvement processes.
Experience and Skills:
Minimum 5 years' insurance industry experience or relevant degree.
Minimum 3 years' underwriting experience.
Strong administration and interpersonal skills.
Clear understanding of corporate objectives.
Ability to work independently.
Proficiency in Underwriter Central, Policy Wordings, Microsoft Outlook, and more.
