The opportunity:
We have a rare opportunity for a top-tier Senior Underwriter to join our growing Retail Underwriting Team.
Located in either Milton, Brisbane or our Sydney CBD office.
Hybrid Working Model.

To do this successfully you will:
Underwriting assessments within personal authority levels
Maintain individual service level, productivity and quality targets
Approval of referrals within authority levels
Strong adviser communication and relationship building
Promote and drive a culture of extracting quality information from advisers and clients or any third party via tele-collection of information
Strategic development of Underwriting practices, processes, reduced requirement requests (e.g.
PMAR) and cancellations rates, end-to-end cycle time targets and tele-underwriting excellence.
Build and maintain strong relationships with reinsurers to gain industry knowledge on best practice underwriting capabilities
Successful applications will demonstrate:
Extensive Underwriting Experience
Ideally hold a Level 8 Delegated Underwriting Authority
Able to demonstrate standard process in Underwriting
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Sound medical and financial knowledge
