As Assistant Underwriter, you have the opportunity to really build your strong foundations within their products to enable a successful career as a full functioning Underwriter.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Provide support to Senior Underwriters
Maintain and build strong Broker relationships
Assist with the development, underwriting and administration of all products
Assist with claims admin to in relation to these products
Assist with New Business, Endorsement and Renewal quotes
Adhere to underwriting guidelines, delegated authority and binder limits
Produce and issue Single Project Adjustment and Extension quotes
Assist finance with incorrect or non payment
Deal with offshore team rerating, special conditions, etc
Perform various other duties as required

***- Solid experience working within Insurance - ideally with 1-2 years Underwriting experience (construction or property/property liability ideal)

Excellent communication skills you will be dealing with both your internal team and also Brokers
Strong time management skills and cando attitude
Selfmotivated team player
Desire to develop and grow your Underwriting career
