Duties and responsibilities include:
- Review and underwrite new business submissions and maintain policy renewal book.
- Document and manage all opportunities accurately and proactively.
- Write referrals and articulate risks to senior underwriters as required.
- Collaborate in a team environment, supporting underwriters, assistants, and managers.
- Liaise with brokers, claim handlers, and legal counsel and provide guidance.
We are looking for someone with:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated high level of organisation and time management abilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Resultsoriented with strong initiative and ability to work independently.
Desirable:
- Experience underwriting cyber and/or financial lines
- Bachelor's degree in relevant class of business
