    Our client is a well-respected and reputable government organization that are well known across NSW. They believe in recruiting the best of the best and provide their staff with a friendly work environment with supportive management.

    They are seeking a dedicated Call Centre Operator to support the day-to-day co-ordination and operation of the business unit. Our client is looking for someone to join their team in Sydney Olympic Park ASAP

    The initial contract will be for 3 months with strong possibility to extend thereafter.

    Please note that this position will require the successful individual to be working 10-hour shifts on a rotating roster operating 24/7.

    The Job.....
    Reporting to a Team Leader, in this exciting contract opportunity you will be responsible for:

    • Taking inbound calls and recording staff absences in multiple systems.
    • Processing day-of shift absences and rostering staff to cover those changes.
    • Providing superior administrative support to the rostering, deployment and HR teams. Including data entry into the rostering system.
    • Ensuring all shift changes are entered in a prompt, efficient and thorough manner.
    • Communicating with staff across all levels of the organisation over the phone, and in person.
    • This position will require staff to work shift work across a rotating roster that operates 10 hours per day, 24/7.

    To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualities and experience:

    • Must be available to work across a 24/7 rotating roster.
    • Minimum 12 months of experience in a high-volume contact centre position.
    • Experience utilising Excel is preferred.
    • Top-tier attention to detail and data entry skills.
    • Amazing customer service skills.
    • Excellent organisational skills.
    • Ability to stay focused in a busy, fast paced environment.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work across multiple systems simultaneously.
