Our client is a well-known organization who are responsible for helping local communities first hand.

They are looking for a passionate, empathetic and dedicated Call Centre Operator to join their team in Parramatta ASAP on a contract until the 31st of May 2024.

The Job.
Reporting through to a Team Leader, you will be accountable for:

  • Acting as a first point of contact for vulnerable customers.
  • Responding to high volumes of inbound enquiries in a call centre environment.
  • Ensuring a high level of service and support to customers in a timely manner through the delivery of accurate information, advice and referrals.
  • Escalating complex issues when required.
  • Managing general administration such as records management, filing and data entry.
  • Identifying and recommending improvements to policies, procedures and practices within the business unit.

You.
To be successful for this opportunity, you must have experience in the following areas and possess the below personal qualities:

  • Minimum 12 months experience working in a Call Centre Position.
  • Experience dealing with vulnerable customers would be highly advantageous.
  • Ability to confidently work across multiple systems and databases.
  • Strong customer service and problemsolving skills.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisation skills and ability to stay focused in a busy environment.
