    Description

    A 4-month fixed term contract as a Director of Finance within one of the most prestigious Catholic schools. located in the Northern Suburbs of Brisbane. For an experienced Financial Controller, Finance Manager, or Head of Finance Interested in the management of day-to-day operations of the school's finance department.

    • Requires CPA or CA Qualifications
    • Salary guide: $ $150000
    • Northern Suburbs of Brisbane

    A normal day includes

    • Overseeing day-to-day operations of the Finance Department.
    • Managing financial activities within budgetary constraints.
    • Providing financial analysis and reporting.
    • Coordinating financial audits and reviews.
    • Assisting in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets.
    • Participating in strategic planning discussions related to financial matters.
    • Supervising finance staff and providing training and development as needed.
    • Liaise with internal stakeholders to address financial concerns and provide guidance.
    • Collaborating with other departments to support financial planning and decision making.
    • Assisting the Executive Director with financial, resource, and business management of the College.

    You'll need

    • Minimum of 5+ years experience within finance roles.
    • Bachelor of Business (Accountancy), CPA or CA Qualifications.
    • Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
    • Blue Card and National Police check.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication.
    • Demonstrated experience working in a school environment (advantageous)
