About the Role:


As a Leasing Manager within our group-wide Property Team, you will work with key internal stakeholders - brand Managing Directors, General Managers and Commercial Managers - to develop our brand strategic network plans.

You will effectively engage with agents, landlords and developers to execute and implement such plans.

The Leasing Manager will contribute to the growth and ongoing profitability of the business through the identification, assessment and securing of suitable sites for new stores, relocations, and extensions.

You will negotiate commercial and legal terms and work closely with our in-house team of solicitors to document and execute property leases and related legal documentation.

Reporting to the Group Leasing Manager, the role works in a team that has been structured to enhance results, deliverables and working environment.

The role will be based in Brisbane and will work across all Super Retail Group brands, however will have a primary focus on our Large Format Retail sites, primarily within BCF


Your experience in executing wide ranging retail leasing outcomes, combined with your ability to professionally communicate with stakeholders will be essential to the role success.


About You:


  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Well developed presentation skills
  • Strong commercial and property acumen
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of Retail Leasing legislation
  • Tertiary qualification in Property Economics or Real Estate related studies, Finance or Economics is desirable
  • Welldeveloped ability to engage at all organisational levels, build lasting relationships and influence key stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.
