- Working on large documents, recording track changes and mark ups;
- Opening, maintaining and closing files;
- Preparing legal documents, correspondence, emails, memos and letters;
- Personal assistant tasks (diary and travel management);
- Liaising with clients and staff on day to day matters;
- Assisting with preparation of briefs, court books and court documents;
- Billing.
- Minimum 12 months legal secretarial experience in a similar role;
- Advanced skills in Word, PowerPoint and Outlook;
- Proficiency using Expert or similar accounting package and FileSite or similar document; management system ;
- A minimum typing speed of 65wpm;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Demonstrated understanding of the importance of client confidentiality;
- The ability to work well with others in a team environment;
- Initiative and the ability to work unsupervised.
