    The opportunity:

    This large CA firm with over 400 staff in their Melbourne CBD office is unlike anywhere else you will experience.

    • The people are technically exceptional, extremely smart and very engaging and supportive.
    • The office reminds me of Google with it's own canteen, multiple lounge areas, and lots of interaction among the colleagues trying to help each other develop, not just sitting at their individual desks looking at screens.
    • They are have doubled their size recently with a fantastic reputation in the market, creating a lot of internal promotion opportunities.
    • The clients are often fast growing businesses, meaning constant challenges and new issues to deal with for the accountants.

    All of this leads to you developing your technical and soft skills and progressing your career. It also means you get to enjoy your work

    The successful candidate will have:

    • Use your managerial experience of a Business Services division at a professional services firm to help you hit the ground running. Ideally where you will have exposure to large complex clients.
    • Qualified accountant.
    • You should enjoy helping people and are smart enough to really listen to what the client wants, not just rely on what your past training tells you to do.
    • Exceptional communication skills are an absolute must as you will be running client and team meetings on a regular basis.
    • Cultural fit. They are an office full of friendly people who are impressive at what they do. Very smart, technically exceptional and with strong communication skills and friendly personalities.
    • Proven Business Development pedigree and ability. Fees to follow are an attractive bonus but not a necessity.
