    Description

    General Manager

    • Career defining role in an iconic Sydney venue.

    ABOUT THE ROLE:

    The ideal candidate

    • High level of financial acumen and decision making
    • Proven ability to meet targets and deadlines
    • Multi sight operational background and 1000+ capacity experience
    • Expert in liquor and gaming compliance laws
    • Hands on, customer focused F&B experience

    The Venue

    • High volume, large capacity venue loved by both tourists and locals
    • Multiple F&B offerings including restaurant, beer garden, public bar, cocktail bar, plus function and event spaces
    • Gaming
    • Live entertainment & PPV events
    • Bottle Shop
    • Accommodation

    The Role

    • Reporting directly to the owner
    • Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across multiple departments
    • Manage and mentor the senior management team
    • Recruit, and retain key talent
    • Collaborate and work closely with Directors, internal department heads and external vendors to drive revenue
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with local community and council
    • Maintain a positive and safe environment for guests and employees.
