My client is a leading, National consultancy firm offering HR services & Talent solutions to their Construction and Engineering clients.

They now have a unique opening for a General Manager to join in their exciting growth stage.


This role will sit with the existing leadership team and play a critical part in business planning and budget management.


As General Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Development and strategic business planning
  • Representing the business through networking opportunities, speaking engagements and other external events
  • Delivering engagement and workwinning activities to develop market, client and industry interaction.
  • Working alongside marketing to deliver high quality proposition development, branding strategies and proposals.
  • Leveraging relationships within the business to generate leads to seek out new business opportunities.
  • Reviewing account performance metrics, program of works, budgets and reporting monthly to highlight and business risk and opportunities.
  • Focusing on short
- and long-term budgets based on business plans and objectives.

  • Ensuring the delivery of agreed revenue and profitability targets for the business unit
  • Building a balanced team, capitalizing on their strengths building on the existing highperforming culture
  • Communicating the vision for success by providing direction in alignment with business targets

To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:

  • Construction/ Engineering industry experience
  • Proven leadership skills on a national scale
  • Highly motivated and driven in seeking out new business opportunities.
  • Experience working in/ alongside an HR & Talent Acquisition function.
  • P&L, Budgets, Business Planning & Strategy
  • Proven ability to train, mentor and support teams with professional development and career progression opportunities.
  • Excellent external stakeholder engagement and business relationshipbuilding skills.
  • Clientfocused, demonstrating the company's, existing high values and behaviors.
