- Ensuring the project's quality management plans/procedures are effectively implemented;
- Providing support to the delivery teams to promote effective quality management practices
- Provide leadership and mentoring to engineers in relation to project QA
- Handle client expectations and communicate effectively with the project team
- Verifying that works constructed are compliant to the required standards and specifications and that the necessary records are available to confirm this;
- Monitoring compliance through various surveillance activities, including ongoing site visits, inspections and audits;
- Identifying quality issues and helping implement solutions to improve the project's quality system, processes and outcomes; and
- Monitoring and reporting on quality performance and taking actions when required.
- Tertiary qualification in engineering preferred
- Lead Auditor qualification also highly regarded
- Experience managing QA management systems on major civil infrastructure projects
- Team player with a positive attitude

About the role
