About the role

As the Quality Manager - Ingredients you will be Responsible for the quality component of the end-to-end Ingredients in our supply chain of key Ingredients.

You will be integral in the delivery of the Quality Strategy within Goodman Fielder specifically in the key element of strengthening the delivery and execution of our Supplier Quality program.

Based in our Head office in Macquarie Park you will be an essential part of our Group Quality team.

Working across cross-functional teams influencing key decisions and contributing to our positive culture and delivery of GF's overall business goals.


You will:


  • Support execution of GF, Group Quality, and Sustainability Strategies
  • Contribute to new business initiatives and assess their impact on Supplier Quality
  • Drive endtoend compliance in Supplier Quality across the supply chain
  • Lead strategic development and metrics for Ingredient suppliers
  • Manage certification requirements for BRC Agents & Brokers and Biosecurity
  • Ensure compliance with GF Warehouse Requirements Manual and Good Warehousing Practices
  • Design and implement continuous quality improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with suppliers on process improvement and value enhancement
  • Manage documentation requirements for testing, certification, and product information
  • Drive consistent and standardized procedures in all quality activities
To be successful in this role you will need

  • 5+ years of proven experience in in Food Industry, including experience in QA Roles is essential
  • A Bachelor Applied Science / Bachelor Applied Science (Food Technology) is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence key stakeholders with
  • Experience with BRC, WQA, SQF, YUM Standards & Requirements
  • Experience in Supplier Development and building relationships with key stakeholders across the business
  • Development and implementation of Quality Programs
