Leading our Quality team, the role of Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for the maintenance and monitoring of our QA programs, policies and procedures to ensure that we continuously improve and sustain a high-quality product is manufactured at our Botany manufacturing plant.

You will be a part of our success by:

  • _*
  • Ensuring the Botany facility adheres to and meets all quality and food safety laws, regulations and corporate policies including BRC certification and compliance
  • Leading and managing customer complaint reduction program, supplier quality assurance, traceability quality programs and training for the facility to ensure compliance and execution of required programs
  • Manage all aspects of internal and external audits as related to Quality Assurance and supporting the Food Safety and Sanitation programs
  • Provide technical support as required for all plant quality issues, plant new product trials, including partnering crossfunctionally to continuously implement & improve such programs
  • Lead and manage hygiene and sanitation function. Kellogg and third party contractors.
  • Embed and maintain Lean Manufacturing principles to enhance ways of working
  • Development and leadership of the Quality team which includes two direct reports & five indirect

Skills, experience & attributes sought:

_**We're looking for an individual with tertiary qualifications in Food Science & Technology or Microbiology or equivalent with a strong track record of success in a Quality Assurance role in Food Manufacturing.

You will have an extensive knowledge or food production from a Quality perspective and a thorough understanding of BRC certification design and implementation.

Working cross-functionally is a core element of this team so your ability to communicate, negotiate and influence at all levels will be critical to you & your teams success.

Leading the Quality function you will ensure your team uphold the high standards required, are engaged and presented with opportunities to learn and develop both personally and professionally.
