- Are an admitted lawyer;
- Have minimum 2 years hands-on experience (preferably more) in personal injury law (preferably plaintiff, open to defendant) including WorkCover/Workers Compensation (essential) actively engaging in file management from start to finish;
- Have solid understanding of the workers compensation process/procedures across the 'life-cycle' of the claim (essential) + some litigation experience and working knowledge of UCPR (Uniform Civil Procedure Rules);

YOUR NEW ROLE
In this KEY PIVOTAL role, reporting to+ being mentored by a high profile Principal (an outstanding 'holistic' personal injury lawyer), you will enjoy the challenge+ satisfaction of doing justice for your plaintiff clients focusing mainly on WorkCover/Workers Compensation with potential in the future to diversify into 1 or more of PIPA, TPD, CTP.
You will be actively managing your own files from A to Z (with back-up mentorship as required) including:
initial client consults, assessing+ advising on viability/quantum/liability of the claim, preparing legal/court documents, liaising with medical professionals/insurers/solicitors/3rd-parties, briefing barristers/medio-legal experts, attending court hearings/settlement+ mediation conferences.
