They excel in improving machine availability, reliability, and overall performance with customized solutions to meet specific applications, and providing clear problem diagnoses.

    Your Role
    Reporting to the Site Services Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out onsite service and monitoring of work on high-voltage slip-ring motors and large-type DC motors for a broad client range nationally and some infrequent travel to Southeast Asia.

    Duties and responsibilities

    • Setting up and machining of slip rings and commutators
    • Removal, repair and assembly of brush gear and slip rings
    • Perform site inspections and audits of DC and AC motors
    • Perform basic electrical static testing, as required
    • Compile and submit inspection reports, including results of all testing
    • Organise mobilization to and from customer sites

    Key Criteria

    • QLD Electrical licence
    • Previous exposure to the mining industry is preferred but not essential
    • Ability to work autonomously onsite
    • Frequent travel across Australia as well as occasional work on the weekend
