The Role:


Based out of Carole Park, and reporting to the Group Service Manager, you will provide field service machine installations, repairs and maintenance of Visy Automation equipment and equipment of other suppliers and /or customers across QLD.

With your technical expertise, strong communication skills and customer service focus, you will:

  • Conduct works on machine installations, maintenance servicing and carrying out repairs to equipment in a timely and professional manner
  • Make recommendations as required during the machine build cycle as to accessibility and electrical improvements for machine reliability
  • Make efficiency and maintenance modification recommendations pre and post installation (or as required) to continually improve on reliability and performance of Visy Automation equipment
  • Provide after sales support in respect of machine maintenance requirements, and quality issues as and when they arise
  • Provide training to machine operator personnel and maintenance personnel on site
  • Provide accurate, detailed and itemised reports of all service, installation and breakdown calls in a timely manner

What you'll bring to the team:

  • Electrical Trade Qualifications and Electrical License A Grade are a must
  • Minimum 5 years posttrade experience, ideally within packaging, FMCG or manufacturing
  • Working knowledge of Allan Bradley/Siemens/Omron PLC Programming systems
  • Computer savvy with experience using MS Office, Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve/troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues under pressure, whilst ensuring safety and customer service is never compromised
  • Highly motivated, driven and organised individual with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Flexibility for weekend work
  • Availability for occasional interstate and overnight work
