About the company

This is a small but rapidly growing Australian business with a team of 10, specialising in demolition, cleaning & make-safes.

This business is a specialist in flood restoration services and due to an increase in demand they are seeking a highly dedicated and passionate Field Restoration Technician to help their team and customers in need in Wacol, QLD.

About the role

If you are looking for job security with a successful and growing Australian company, then this is the role for you Reporting directly to the owner of the business, you will have autonomy in this role and be provided with a supportive team environment with training & development opportunities.

Your success in this role will be determined by your attitude, work ethic & attention to detail skills.

Key Responsibilities

Travel to residential, industrial & commercial properties throughout Brisbane and surrounding areas to complete required restoration works.
Use Appbased job management and reporting software
Remove and discard nonsalvageable building materials and contents contaminated by flood, mould, sewage, fire, and other hazards
Restore and sanitise building materials and contents deemed restorable conduct makesafe work.
Install and monitor restoration equipment
Clean and maintain company, facilities, equipment, and vehicles

Skills & experience

Previous experience in trades & building would be highly valuable for this role.
Open to 3rd year apprentices in all trades who want a role with variety and those who are good with their hands with alot of common sense
Brilliant attention to detail skills is of high value
You must have a hard work ethic and be able to work autonomously
Trade skills or prior handyman skills is desirable
Have the physical ability to lift heavy objects on occasion
Have an Australian Driver's License & Construction White card.
