This is an excellent opportunity for a purpose-driven HR Advisor to join a team of world-class scientists, engineers, and researchers.

The Role

Reporting the HR Manager, and working collaboratively with the Recruitment & HR Officer, the HR Advisor is responsible for providing accurate and timely HR advice, support and consultancy services to managers and employees across the full spectrum of the employee lifecycle.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following;

Providing support to managers and employees by advising on policies and procedures, as well as HR operations
Coaching managers through lowerlevel ER cases including grievances and disciplinaries, and escalating where appropriate
HR Administration including generating HR metrics and reporting, and supporting with contract and letter generation
Facilitating training sessions to managers on relevant HR processes as required
Support the HR Manager with a broad range of HR projects
Prepares the monthly payroll advice for HRM approval, including some calculations relating to employment arrangements, working closely with payroll and finance
Acts as the returntowork coordinator, providing practical support and guidance to employees and managers

We are looking for a purpose-driven HR Advisor that has proven experience across the full end-to-end employee life cycle.

Genuine and passionate in nature
Strong team player and positive 'can do' attitude.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Completion of a tertiary qualification in Human Resources (or related field)
Proven experience in a similar HR generalist role
A sound knowledge of the principles and legislation underpinning all aspects of HR
