This is an excellent opportunity for a purpose-driven HR Advisor to join a team of world-class scientists, engineers, and researchers.


The Role

Reporting the HR Manager, and working collaboratively with the Recruitment & HR Officer, the HR Advisor is responsible for providing accurate and timely HR advice, support and consultancy services to managers and employees across the full spectrum of the employee lifecycle.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following;

  • Providing support to managers and employees by advising on policies and procedures, as well as HR operations
  • Coaching managers through lowerlevel ER cases including grievances and disciplinaries, and escalating where appropriate
  • HR Administration including generating HR metrics and reporting, and supporting with contract and letter generation
  • Facilitating training sessions to managers on relevant HR processes as required
  • Support the HR Manager with a broad range of HR projects
  • Prepares the monthly payroll advice for HRM approval, including some calculations relating to employment arrangements, working closely with payroll and finance
  • Acts as the returntowork coordinator, providing practical support and guidance to employees and managers
We are looking for a purpose-driven HR Advisor that has proven experience across the full end-to-end employee life cycle.

  • Genuine and passionate in nature
  • Strong team player and positive 'can do' attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Completion of a tertiary qualification in Human Resources (or related field)
  • Proven experience in a similar HR generalist role
  • A sound knowledge of the principles and legislation underpinning all aspects of HR
