YOUR ROLE

We are currently seeking a Production Officer based at our Mackay branch to complete testing, inspections, and warehouse work. As a part of our team, you will be involved in the testing, repairing and manufacture or wire and synthetic ropes, chains, and height safety equipment in line with quality assurance guidelines. You will perform warehouse duties as required including receiving, picking, dispatch and delivery of products.

Your responsibilities will include:

Operation of test machines, presses, and other machinery
Ensuring accurate documentation and records
Liaising with customers regarding testing and repair works
Regular communication with internal staff
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all times
Warehouse duties including forklift operation

ABOUT YOU

To us it is simple. You want to be a part of a high performing team and contribute by ensuring our customers' orders are manufactured, tested, processed, and handled in the most timely and efficient manner whilst following the Bunzl company policies & procedures. You will possess strong verbal and written communication skills as well as strong literacy and numeracy ability. Our team is looking for an exceptional team player who is punctual, reliable and prides themselves on being attentive to detail, but can also work autonomously when required.

The other essentials we are looking for:

A valid Forklift Licence
A valid Driver's Licence
A passion for customer satisfaction and strong interpersonal skills

Whilst not essential previous exposure as below would be an advantage:

Lifting & Rigging industry knowledge or experience
Warehousing and distribution knowledge experience
